About Us
We’ve been in the business of making technology easier for people since 2006.
Starting off as programmers (and a lone mechanical engineer), we quickly learned the value of solid documentation for desktop software and cloud-based applications. We’ve evolved since then and our focus has shifted to writing help docs for smaller devices, including mobile smartphones and tablets. As more and more companies create apps for smartphones and tablets, we’ve expanded our offerings to include not only writing services, but also user experience (UX) design and development for iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ and Windows™ devices.
Our Rates
For help docs, there is a minimum project fee of $200 for the first 400 words and $0.25 per word thereafter (screenshots included optionally, at no additional charge). The $200 fee covers the initial consultation, app review, up to 400 words of help content, one round of revisions and optional screenshots. An additional fee will be applied for more than one round of revisions. We guarantee a 3 business day turnaround on first drafts of help docs (excludes weekends and holidays).
If you need us to select and configure a knowledge base for your mobile app, we charge a $500 setup fee (this fee does NOT include charges assessed by your knowledge base provider). If your knowledge base is already set up and all you need is content, no problem! For content only, there is a minimum project fee of $200 for the first 400 words and $0.25 per word thereafter (screenshots included optionally, at no additional charge). The $200 fee covers the initial consultation, app review, up to 400 words of KB article content, one round of revisions and optional screenshots. An additional fee will be applied for more than one round of revisions. We guarantee a 5 business day turnaround on first drafts of KB articles (excludes weekends and holidays).
Video tutorials are produced for a flat fee, based on the length of the video, style and scope of work. Contact us for a video tutorial quote.
All UX/UI work is billed at a rate of $50/hour with no minimums. Contact us for a project quote.
